The ABCD research lab attended the 8th World Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery in Washington, D.C. this August. This international conference brought together over 5,000 clinicians, researchers, patients, and parents to meet and discuss the latest research and advancements in pediatric and congenital heart disease.
At the conference, Fatima Abboud, a recent ABCD research MSc graduate, presented both a poster and an oral abstract on the Cortical Correlates of Executive Functions in Adolescents and Young Adults with Congenital Heart Defects. Great work Fatima. Wishing you the best in your future endeavours :)
