The Quebec Bio-Imaging Network honours Professor Marie Brossard-Racine

We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Marie Brossard-Racine has been awarded the 2024 Rising Star in Bio-Imaging Prize by the Quebec Bio-Imaging Network (QBIN)! QBIN, established in 2008, promotes and facilitates collaborations among researchers in the field of bio-imaging across Quebec. QBIN aims to support innovative research initiatives and provides funding opportunities for trainees, fostering advancements in bio-imaging technologies and applications.

Dr. Brossard-Racine's innovative work at the Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre and her leadership at the ABCD Research Laboratory have been instrumental in advancing the field of pediatric bio-imaging. This prestigious award recognizes her outstanding contributions to pediatric neuroscience, specifically her research on the underlying mechanisms of neurodevelopmental disorders in children. As a recipient of this award, she was invited to present a talk entitled "Neuroimaging in survivors of early life adversities" as a keynote speaker at the QBIN Scientific Day 2024 hosted at Concordia University.
